Refund policy

Order Cancellations - To cancel an order email hello@tanagergreenhouse.com as soon as possible.

  • Orders that are changed or canceled by 1 week prior to pick-up or delivery will receive a full refund.
  • Orders canceled within 1 week of pick-up or delivery, but before the plant pick-up or delivery, will be refunded minus 15% restocking fee to cover the costs of ordering and coordinating your order (or 100% refund in the form of store credit).
  • Orders canceled on the plant pick-up or delivery day will be refunded minus 50% restocking fee that covers the costs we incur in loading, transporting, and coordinating your order (or 100% refund in the form of store credit).

Please reach out to us at hello@tanagergreenhouse.com if you are unable to pick-up or receive delivery of plants to reschedule ASAP. 

No Shows After placing an online order, each customer receives an email confirmation immediately. We will send a second email reminder several days before pick-up or delivery as a reminder. If an order is not picked up, we will call or text, asking if/when you are coming to pick up your order. If the customer has not made a prior arrangement with us nor responded to any of these three communications, it is considered a "no show". We will hold "no show" orders for 1 week before processing a cancellation, as described above.           

Plant Warranty - Plants are living things in a dynamic natural environment. So, we are not able to provide an unlimited, universal warranty on plants. That said, here's how we can work together for happy customers and healthy plants:

  • We work with licensed and reputable growers that care about quality. That said, things happen (deer, rabbits, freezing or scorching temps, etc.) that can degrade the quality of plants between the time when you order them and when you pick them up. If you have any questions or issues, it's best to bring it up during the checkout process. 
  • Many plants will be dormant at pick-up. We have been assured that all dormant plants are checked for a bulb or root structure before delivery, but we invite you to take a careful, second look inside the pot(s) before driving away. That would be the quickest and easiest way to address a problem and/or issue a refund. 
  • If you have issues or questions about the plants you got, reach out immediately to let us know. It genuinely helps us to know if there are consistent problems with a species or a grower we're working with, thereby improving quality for everyone.
  • Moral of the story, we are compassionate humans, happy to issue refunds on a case by base basis, in reasonable situations.  hello@tanagergreenhouse.com
